Usually we prefer using the original because it will transfer at a higher quality with our high tech equipment. If you still have the original 8/16/35mm film we recommend that you send us both versions. Once we review them, we'll call you to discuss your options.
We can repair/splice most video and film. We can also transfer moldy video tapes. We can't however process material that is damaged beyond repair due to poor storage.
We create High Def MP4 files delivered on a flash drive. For the expert who wants to edit the raw film footage, we can provide AVI files. DVD and BluRay discs are also available.
The simple answer is flash drive. Why? DVD discs are going away and are not High Def. We provide all film transfers in High Def on a flash drive which can be used on your PC as well as today's TVs via USB ports. We can still make DVDs.
